L.A. based Mexican born assistant director and filmmaker.

Born January 24th 1996 in Mexico City, where he has lived most of his life and started his film journey for a production company at the age of 15 as a second assistant director.

Bachelors in Marketing and Communications at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2018.

Master in Fine Arts in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in 2022.

Has worked for over 10 years in the film making industry mainly in the branches of music videos and commercials but migrated to narrative film making in 2018.

Work Experience

Joaquin has worked as an assistant director in over 80 commercials, music videos, and films in the Mexican film industry for renowned directors such as Fausto Teran, Pablo Maiola, Daniel Luebbert, Jason Ramno, Oscar Ramos, among others.
